IFIC Digital Account Opening
A Bangladeshi Citizen or Non Resident Bangladeshi (NRB) having NID/Smart ID card can open digital bank account.
You will need to input mobile number and email ID at the starting of account opening. After mobile number and email ID verification, you need to provide your NID information, some basic personal and account related information.
You have to upload your NID/ Smart ID card both side and to capture / upload your photo. Also nominee’s photo ID (both side for NID/ Driving License) is required to upload and photo to capture/ upload during account opening. Each document size will be maximum 5 MB
Yes, you can save it. If you log out from any page, by verifying mobile number you can resume from saved page.
After final submission of your information, you will get a tracking number in the screen and in mobile through SMS.
Yes, you can open a joint account digitally.
No. you will have to apply in IFIC branch for opening an institutional account.
Introducer is not mandatory to open digital account.
Yes, you will have to visit your preferred branch to activate the account and to submit initial deposit amount. Initial deposit means 1st cash deposit after account opening.
It refers to summation of your probable deposit and withdrawal amount in your account.
To enable IFIC digital banking, you have to input email address at contact information and check digital banking at additional service in account information screen. You will also have to check cheque book, debit card to get it.
Yes, your application is secured. IFIC uses secured technology for digital account opening.
